Based in Ottawa, Adele Furrie Consulting Inc. (AFCI) is a consulting firm that provides a range of statistical services to government, community-based organizations and private sector businesses to meet their need for quality information for their decision-making purposes.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is anchored in Adele Furrie’s 40 years of experience as an employee of Statistics Canada—the last 10 years of which were spent in senior management. AFCI believes in the application of sound statistical and survey methodological techniques and processes. AFCI delivers results by forming research teams tailored to meet the unique subject matter requirements of each project.

OUR TEAM
AFCI’s president, Adele Furrie, is passionate about what she and her teams can contribute to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged segments of the population. She is recognized as one of the world’s experts on the collection of information concerning the impact of living with a disability. As a trained survey methodologist, she is intimately aware of the impact of good quality data and analysis, and she demands nothing less from her research teams. She offers pro bono expertise to community-based clients who need quality information but who might lack the necessary financial resources.
